SAE Class 3 warning lights are the least bright and are mainly used to identify vehicles. Since these lights have the lowest light intensity of the three SAE classes, they are typically used inside of buildings where there is little or no ambient sunlight. Class 3 warning lamps may be used on forklifts or other industrial trucks, which are used on job sites or in warehouses where traffic isn’t high, but where identification is necessary without overpowering a work area with a flashing light. They can even be used for an attention-grabbing effect at trade shows and indoor events.
