Adaptive LED Motorcycle Headlight for improved cornering

Poor visibility when cornering can prove a real hazard for motorcyclists riding at night. But J.W. Speaker Corporation has been turning that blind spot into a bright spot for a number of years with the world’s first dynamically Adaptive Motorcycle Headlight.

Using on-board sensors and advanced electronics, the headlights automatically direct the light array up or down as the motorcycle leans in order to fill the dark spots to the left or right of the rider, depending on which way they are cornering.

An updated version of the headlights has recently been released, with the adaptive technology now also employed when high beam is engaged to eliminate dark corners and throw a punch of light 1,500 feet down the road for a safer and more confident ride.
